Introduction

SBBU, SBA is considering the General subjects as core and principle area of knowledge, which has been necessary for every period of systemetic learning, speciffically in contemporary time, their requirment in acedamic journey is most practically reflected than what ever been so. Keep insight the matter, the university has established the department of General Faculty (Comprising of Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Pakistan Studies and Urdu) aims at integrating the mechanism of acedamic process of teaching of general subjects and facilitating all diciplines with strong nature of coordination. Also, the main purpose of formation of General Faculty is to keep intact with applicable stratgies to confront the challenges emerging from society time to time in social, economic, and enviromental perspectives. That is the reason the department is organized to dedicate its capabilities for helping the students to enhance their skills, facillitating them in broad and diversified sources of knowledge and imparting experties in specific areas be necessary to meet with requirments of present world.

To extended the role from acedemic to social, cultural and enviromwental developments through steps taken under the availability of resources and helps students to meet with requirments of society in social, economic, cultural, and ethical prespectives with international standards.

Mission

As general department, our mission is to provide principle information to the students of all diciplines by aiming to develop their learning skills, advance their rational abilities, Ingrain the passion of being civilized citizen and enlighten their social behaviour with ethical norms and human values.

Objectives

1) To enhance competence of students in general areas of knowledge.

4) To enable students to have sufficient capability in quantitative reasoning.
