The office of the Registrar is responsible for the provision of Administrative, HRM and Academic support to various authorities of the Institute, and is responsible for the provision of secretariat support to the various authorities of the Institute including Syndicate Board , Academic Council, Selection Board, Boards of Faculties and Boards of Studies, etc. Further, the Registrar is the custodian of the common seal and the academic records of the Institute and is responsible to maintain a record of registered graduates in the prescribed manner.
The Registrar is responsible for the effective management of the human and other resources allocated to the Office of the Registrar in providing the highest possible level of service to students, prospective students and applicants, members of the University faculty and staff, and members of the broader communities served by the University.
